Welcome! I am currently a PhD Candidate in the Political Science department at the University of Rochester where I study International Relations and Comparative Politics.
I have bachelor's degrees in mathematics and in political science, from the University of Washington, a Master of Science in Strategic Intelligence from the National Defense Intelligence College, and a Master of Arts in political science from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
Prior to beginning my PhD studies, I worked for the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) as an intelligence analyst focusing on counter-narcotics and counter-terrorism issues. I also worked as a Special Agent for the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) where I investigated crimes ranging from counter-intelligence and fraud to sexual assault and child abuse.
